A 22-year-old woman from Auburn was hospitalized Tuesday morning after her car ran off the road in DeKalb County.

DeKalb County Sheriff's deputies report that Ashley N. Christlieb was driving south on DeKalb County Road 37 at County Road 32 when she ran off the road and went into a ditch, deploying the airbag in her 2005 Hyundai Elantra. Deputies said that Christlieb, who is pregnant, reported pain in her hand and abdomen.

She was taken to DeKalb Health in Auburn, where she was admitted. Her condition was unavailable late Tuesday morning. Officials noted that fog and a covering of snow on roads required reduced speeds for driving Tuesday morning.
