High winds may make driving high-profile vehicles difficult, and scattered tree and utility-line damage is likely today, according to a wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service today.

By 11 a.m., winds at Fort Wayne International Airport already had increased to 31 mph, with gusts up to 41 mph. The wind advisory says gusts may reach as much as 45 or 50 mph today.

Winds are expected to diminish to 15-25 mph tonight, with gusts dropping to a maximum of 35 mph.
