Indiana forward Will Sheehey spoke with the media following the Hoosiers' Big Ten Conference victory over Newbraska at Assembly Hall on Wednesday.

On his first 3-point basket that started IU's 10-0 first-half run:

I just try to bring in that energy. We started off a little slow. I don't think that was the play that really changed it.

On IU's defense:

That's what you should lean on from the start regardless of whether your offense is going or not. There's a direct correlation to how well we're playing on dense and how well we're playing on offense. If teams are getting easy baskets you can't run as well. If we get stops we're going to score on the other end.

On IU's balanced scoring:

We're sharing the ball. We're looking for each other. We're spacing the floor, throwing it in and working from there.

On IU's improvement:

We hang our hats on certain things. We have more experience. We know how to close games. We're learning every day instead of going through the motions.
