The Mark Trammell Quartet, whose song “Way Past Ready” currently is No. 4 on the Singing News Magazine Southern Gospel music chart, will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Hamilton Life Center in Hamilton.

Mark Trammell performed as member of the Cathedrals and the Kingsmen before starting his own quartet with three young vocalists —his son, Nick Trammell, and Eric Phillips and bass singer Pat Barker, a news release said. The group's song “I Want to Know” finished as No. 1 Southern Gospel song on the 2012 Singing News Magazine chart.

Doors and concessions open at 6 p.m. A pre-show begins at 6:30 p.m.

Cost is $6 at the door; $5 advance-sale tickets are available at hamiltonlifecen ter@yahoo.com or 1-260-488-4129. A freewill offering also will be taken at the event.
