The Indiana quarterback battle continues with Tre Roberson, Cam Coffman and Nate Sudfeld in contention.
Coach Kevin Wilson and his staff has set no timetable for naming a quarterback. Wilson also seems open to the possibility of a quarterback rotation. The general consensus is Roberson is the better athlete and runner, Sudfeld has the strongest arm, and Coffman is a solid mix between the two.
The quarterbacks are sharing the reps with the No.1 and No. 2 offense, although Wilson said the evaluation involves more than just keeping track of practice and scrimmage statistics.
“I can't tell how many TDs they've thrown, picks they've had, what their completion percentage is,” he said. “I'm not charting that. They're all pretty good. It is what is is.”
