Legendary Chicago Bears coach and ESPN analyst Mike Ditka is headed to Fort Wayne this weekend.
Ditka will be appearing at the Craig Neal/Grant Delegrange Celebrity Golf live auction at 6 p.m. Sunday at Autumn Ridge Golf Club, 11420 Old Auburn Rd.
The event raises money for Special Olympics of Allen County and has generated over $1 million over the years for various charities.
Ditka, of course, led the Bear to the Super Bowl XX championship as part of his 11 years as coach. He's also a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Neal, the tournament's host, is the men's basketball coach at the University of New Mexico and a former player with the CBA's Fort Wayne Fury.
Tickets for the event are $50 and special VIP tickets for a meet-and-greet with Ditka are $150. The event will be followed up with a charity golf outing on Monday, starting with a celebrity putting contest at 8:30 a.m. and a Florida scramble shotgun start at 9 a.m.
