Christian Bradley of Woodburn was arrested Oct. 1 after city police found his fingerprints in one of the homes, according to court papers.
Bradley was charged Thursday with attempted burglary. He’s accused of trying to break into a house in the 200 block of North Cornell Circle in the Harrison Hill neighborhood.
A resident of the home reported the break-in attempt to police about 5:15 a.m. Sept. 28. She told officers she awoke to the sound of her security alarm and came downstairs to find a window screen up and the back door slightly ajar, court papers stated.
Bradley has also been charged in two actual burglaries reported the same day at homes in the same neighborhood.
One was at a house in the 4000 block of South Harrison Street. A teenager inside was startled by a burglar in the kitchen in the middle of the night, court papers said.
The other burglary was at a home in the 200 block of Lexington Avenue. The victim told police he came downstairs in the morning, saw his front door open and noticed several things missing, court papers stated.
Detectives are investigating Bradley’s involvement in the other south-side burglaries reported in recent months, police have said.
He was being held Thursday at the Allen County Jail, with bail set at $60,000.
