Savor Fort Wayne is a 12-day dining event from Jan. 15 to 26, during which participating restaurants will offer specially designed three-course menus for a set price. The event is modeled after restaurant weeks in bigger cities, in which establishments often see some of their highest-grossing days during an otherwise slow time, says Susan Decker, spokeswoman for the Indiana Restaurant Association.
Local restaurants, including J.K. O’Donnell’s, Oyster Bar and the Hall’s group, had contacted the association about planning a restaurant week. So far, more than nine restaurants have signed on, and planners expect 20 unique eateries to participate.
For a list of participating restaurants and menus, go to www.savorfortwayne.com. Updates will also be posted via Facebook on the Savor Fort Wayne page and on Twitter @SavorFortWayne.
