Chalk up more damage in Fort Wayne to this punishing winter. The rotating bread-slice sign atop Aunt Millie's Bakery -- one of Fort Wayne's downtown landmarks -- has stopped turning, and one of the slices was ripped from the sign by high winds weeks ago.

Aunt Millie's spokeswoman Melissa Dunning said that this winter has damaged so many signs in this region that contractors the company normally calls when the sign needs attention are booked up working on projects elsewhere. A repair crew is scheduled to work on the sign Monday, she said.
