Mad Ants update: The Ants return to the road still trailing Canton by a game in the NBA Development League East Division. While the NBA-assigned players are no longer with the team, there will be one new player in uniform in the recently acquired Matt Bouldin. The former Gonzaga player was acquired in a trade with Delaware, where he was averaging 12.7 points per game. …The last time the Ants played at Springfield, on Jan.24, they took a 117-108 win. Tony Mitchell, who won the D-League dunk title for the second straight year over the weekend, scored 25 points in that game and McKinney-Jones added 21. The Ants had four other players in double figures in an example of how they play their best when they share the basketball. …Howard continues to be among the D-League leaders in a number of categories and he posted 11 assists in the all-star game.

Springfield Armor scouting report: Springfield is 11-19, but it has steadily improved after starting the season 1-9. The Armor has a number of strong individual players, including All-Star three-point contest competitor Adonis Thomas, who posted a 33-point, 15-rebound game against Bakersfield on Feb. 10. Shooting guard Darius Johnson-Odom, who played at Marquette, set a Springfield record with 41 points in a single game. Johnson-Odom averages 24.2 points per game. The Armor recently acquired Khalif Wyatt, who was the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year at Temple last season. He had been playing in China before returning to the United States and putting his name into the D-League player pool.
