Buddy is a 2-year-old neutered male black and white Labrador Retriever mix. He is very energetic that needs help with manners and obedience training. He is smart but likes to take charge. He needs a home with discipline and rules. He also needs a home that doesn't have small kids as he tends to push them over with his solid build and high-energy. He knows how to sit and would really love to learn more tricks. He gets along with other dogs that can handle his energy. Call the Allen County SPCA at 744-0454.

Shurley is a 1-year-old spayed female white with brown domestic short hair cat. She is a shy little gal. She enjoys attention as long as she realizes you aren't going to hurt her. In fact, she'll even let you hold and snuggle with her. She came from a home with lots of cats and probably got lost in the feline crowd when it came to human interaction. She gest along well with other cats but would be pretty scared in a home with lots of loud kids. She does better in a home environment as opposed to the shelter, therefore, she is living with a foster mom until she finds her forever home. If you are interested in visiting her, please call the shelter at

744-0454 to schedule an appointment.
