FORT WAYNE — A young man found shot to death Monday evening on Fort Wayne's south side has been identified as Allen County's latest homicide victim.

Eighteen-year-old Sean D. Walker was found suffering from gunshot wounds about 7:30 p.m. Police were called to the 2500 block of Weisser Park Avenue on a report of shots fired, according to the Allen County Coroner's Office. He was in the grass of a small vacant lot and died at the scene.

His death was ruled a homicide – the seventh this year in Allen County.
