Yahoo says it’s giving the sitcom “Community” a sixth season online.

Yahoo and Sony Pictures Television announced Monday that the show’s creator, Dan Harmon, will serve as an executive producer for 13 new episodes.

The companies say cast members including Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs and Yvette Nicole Brown will come along as the axed NBC show moves online to Yahoo Screen this fall.

Estate tallied

Lou Reed’s estate is worth over $20 million, and it’s bequeathed to his wife – musician Laurie Anderson – and his sister.

Reed’s executors value musical rights and various other assets in his estate at $20.3 million in court papers filed Monday in Manhattan.

The sum doesn’t include the East Hampton, New York, home Reed bought for about $1.5 million in 2009 or his Manhattan apartment.

The Velvet Underground frontman and “Walk on the Wild Side” singer died Oct. 27 of complications from a liver transplant. He was 71 and had no children.

The Who plan tour

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey are taking The Who on the road for a series of shows in the U.K. celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary.

Daltrey referred to the tour as the start of the Who’s “long goodbye” at a news conference Monday at Ronnie Scott’s jazz bar in London.

“Well, it just has to be, really,” the 70-year-old Daltrey said. “We can’t go on touring forever, but we don’t know how long we will go on touring. It’s an open-ended kind of thing. But it will have a finality to it. We’ll stop touring, I’m sure, before we stop playing as a band.

“It’s just like Eric Clapton’s just said: It’s the grind of the road, it’s incredibly tough on the body this age. The singing is free; you pay us for the bloody traveling.”

The Who Hits 50 tour is set to begin Nov. 30 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Monday’s news doesn’t necessarily mean Townshend and Daltrey are backing away from the band. Townshend said he’s written three new songs and hopes to record them with Daltrey.
