Parkview has moved its Parkview Occupational Health East State Clinic to a new location.

The clinic will open Thursday in its new location at 3415 Hobson Road. The new clinic, less than a mile away from its former location at 3103 E. State Blvd., will offer a more spacious facility, improved parking, state-of-the art electronic medical record system and brand-new digital X-ray equipment.

Occupational Medicine Services offered at the East State clinic will remain the same at the new Hobson Road location including injury treatment, physical therapy and rehabilitation, physical examinations for employment, and NRCME-certified commercial driver license, drug and alcohol testing with national MRO services, and screening services such as hearing conservation, immunizations and respirator fit testing.

The clinic provides services to 450 companies. A procedure room at the new location will allow them to treat minor bone breaks and cuts, allowing companies to save on the cost of a trip to the ER for their employees.

Diane Casey, director of operations at the clinic, said they are still within less than a mile of their former location. The move puts them into a building already owned by Parkview and provides a better layout flow for the patients. This means people just stopping by for a drug screen can be processed quickly.
