A workman from General Restoration of Columbus, Ohio, walks Wednesday afternoon on the Allen County Courthouse's roof as he and a crew prepare to do general maintenance checks and cleanup. The crew was setting up scaffolding. Mike Green, Allen County government spokesman, said a three- to four-year check is part of the agreement struck with the company several years ago when it restored the exterior, which included cleaning and tuck-pointing joints, repairing limestone and granite, and cleaning the surface and ledges. Green wasn't sure how long the checkup would take but said it would be based on what workers find.
