More 'Blue Star Banners' going up

Mayor Tom Henry this week welcomed families of 17 service members into his office to view the Blue Star Banners that will be placed along West Jefferson Boulevard to in the coming days to recognize Fort Wayne residents and city employees who are actively deployed. The 17 additional banners brings the total number to 31.

Banners will be placed in honor of 2nd. Lt. Ross E. Allen, Marines; Lance Cpl. Daishaun T. Butler, Marines;

Petty Officer Third Class Katelyn E. Butler, Navy; Master Sgt. Jeffrey Alan Hite, Air Force; Specialist Blakeley Hollinger, Army; Specialist Nolan Michalski, Army; Cpl. Andrew Mruk, Army; 2nd. Lt. Miles North, Army; Pfc. Brandon M. Parrish; Specialist Christopher Russell, Army; Specialist Adrian J. Sewell, Army; Specialist Jarone Shaw, Army;

Sgt. T.J. Stotlar, Army; Airman 1st Class Eric J. Stuckey, Air Force; Maj. Jeffrey I. Studebaker, Marines; Specialist Dalton R. Warren, Army; Sgt. N. Alex Wooten, Army

Family and friends of deployed military personnel can complete an application at www.cityoffortwayne.org/bluestarbanner.
