Melissa Lechlitner scored 15 points to lead four Notre Dame players in double figures, and the No. 5 Irish defeated South Carolina 78-55 in the Paradise Jam on Friday.

Ashley Barlow scored 14 points for Notre Dame (5-0). Skylar Diggins added 12 points and Becca Bruszewski had 11.

Valeria Nainima led South Carolina (2-3) with 15 points.

“I loved the second-half defense,” Notre Dame coach Muffet McGraw said. “I thought we did an outstanding job in the zone. I thought we got out and guarded the shooter in the second half.”

Notre Dame takes on No. 20 Oklahoma today.

No. 10 DUKE 74, MARQUETTE 43:  Jasmine Thomas had 11 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists for the third triple-double in Duke history as the Blue Devils (5-1) won in Cancun, Mexico.

No. 12 FLORIDA STATE 82, AUBURN 67:  Alysha Harvin scored 18 points to lead host Florida State (5-0) at the Seminole Classic.

SOUTHERN CAL 61, No. 13 TEXAS 54:  Briana Gilbreath scored 13 points to lead four players in double figures to lead USC (2-3) in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

No. 14 GEORGIA 77, TEXAS A&M-C.C.:  Porsha Phillips had a double-double by halftime to lead the Bulldoes (5-0) to a win in Hattiesburg, Miss.

RUTGERS 62, No. 19 MISSISSIPPI STATE 54:  Brittany Ray scored a career-high 27 points to help the Scarlet Knights (4-2) pull off an upset at the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

No. 20 OKLAHOMA 87, No. 23 SAN DIEGO STATE 48:  Amanda Thompson scored 18 points as Oklahoma (4-1) advanced to face Notre Dame today for the Island Division title of the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

No. 21 VANDERBILT 95, AUSTIN PEAY 51:  In

 Nashville, Tenn., Jordan Coleman scored a career-high 17 points and Hannah Tuomi scored 15 for the Commodores (5-0).

No. 24 PITTSBURGH 63, APPALACHIAN STATE 56:  Shayla Scott had a career-high 17 points and 11 rebounds as host Pittsburgh (5-0) came from behind to avoid an upset.

No. 25 MICHIGAN STATE 78, GEORGE WASHINGTON 47:  Jasmine Thomas scored 15 points to help Michigan State (3-2) roll in the Junkanoo Jam In Freeport, Bahamas.

INDIANA 72, CHARLOTTE 61:  Jamie Braun scored 24 points and Jori Davis added 21 more for the Hoosiers in a win at the Junkanoo Jam in Freeport, Bahamas. Sasha Chaplin had 11 points for IU (4-2).

NORTH DAKOTA STATE 65, BALL STATE 57:  Danielle Gratton had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinals in the road loss. Patrice King led Ball State (2-3) with 15 points.

EASTERN ILLINOIS 68, IPFW 64:  Chelsey Jackson scored 21 points for the Mastodons in the home loss. Stephanie Rosado added 13 points for IPFW (1-3).
