About 60 men and women nearly beat the dawn to Fox Island Sunday for the Fox Island Triathlon. The event was a sprint triathlon; it began with a 500-meter swim, a 20-kilometer (more than 12 miles) bike race and a 5-km (more than 3 miles) run.
