Ramona Hawkins figures God planted the idea in her heart. But even then it took her two years to organize what she hopes will be an annual Thanksgiving Day dinner for people who need community at least as much as they need a good meal.
The Associated Churches Military Family program Monday delivered 135 holiday meals to the 122nd Fighter Wing and the 293rd Infantry. Of  the 135 meals 35 were delivered to the 293rd Army National Guard base at 130 Cook Road.
