Thankfully, more restaurateurs are keeping private events and large parties in mind when designing establishments. There are intimate meeting spaces to celebrate life’s milestones and gathering your loved ones together for more secluded social get-togethers. The north-side restaurant has two rooms that can be reserved depending on the size of the party. Noah’s Room is for more intimate gatherings and the restaurant’s party room is for larger crowds. Biaggi’s: Capacity: 100 guests. Not just Italian in cuisine, but in its decor as well, the private rooms at Biaggi’s offer groups a multitude of options. The restaurant’s special event room is perfect for anniversary parties and rehearsal dinners. Casa Ristoranti Italiano: Capacity: 56 guests. A Fort Wayne favorite, Casa Ristoranti has a separate banquet facility next to its southwest location. It offers family-style service where guests enjoy a selected menu served on platters and placed on each dining table so guests may experience an authentic Italian family meal. Eddie Merlot’s: Capacity: 100 guests. From a casual seating space with club chairs to a more elegant space with flexible seating, Eddie Merlot’s has several spaces for private parties. Its namesake, the Merlot room features a natural stone fireplace and glass door entryway with floor to ceiling privacy curtains. Joseph Decuis: Capacity: 50 guests. Joseph Decuis offers several private dining areas.The Gallery board room and its adjacent reception area are located in the cottage adjacent to the restaurant. This room is highlighted by an ancient teak table and paintings by local artist Penny French-Deal. In the restaurant’s main building and above its bar, Club Creole, is the Chairman’s Office. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse: Capacity: 100 guests. This fine-dining steakhouse offers six private dining rooms, each with its own feel and set of amenities. The most intimate are the Ruth’s room that can seat up to eight and is an enclosed glass room located in the restaurant’s bar area and the Wine room that seats up to 12 guests and is an enclosed room surrounded by wine bottles.
