Fast Fashion: Peony Rose
The newest clothing boutique in town doesn’t have an address, but it does have a license plate.
Peony & Rose began as on online clothing boutique last February, throwing occasional local pop-up events for friends and family. After requests for more consistent access to its inventory, owners Wendy Ellis and Stacy Wojtanik decided to go mobile.
Meet Penny, Peony & Rose’s 24-foot-long 1964 Avion. Lovingly restored in Utah and recently delivered to its new home in Fort Wayne, this adorably-appointed trailer hauls of-the-moment clothing and accessories, with most pieces priced below $50.
With a range of looks from classic to current trends, Peony & Rose stocks dresses for both day and night, graphic tees and chic tops as well as jewelry. The boutique is always on the hunt for new categories and brands to add to its selection, with perforated booties and sunglasses as their newest arrivals.
Fans of Peony & Rose can’t get enough of the stylish yet comfy moto-leggings, which are offered in a variety of colors and can be styled in multiple ways. Shop the boutique online or on the street, or host your own shopping party for fashionable friends in the comfort of your own driveway.
