But What If There’s No Chimney?
Ben has just moved into town and is shocked to find out his house has no chimney. With Christmas right around the corner, he wonders how Santa will ever get into the house, which leads Ben to look for answers from a slew of the adults in his world, plus his dog. Hoosier Mandy Hussey teamed up with Emily Weisner Thompson, executive director of the Santa Claus Museum and Village in Santa Claus, Indiana, and illustrator Kate Lampe to make a children’s book about the mystery and wonder of Christmas.

The Perfect Season
Here’s a little-known fact among the treasure trove of Hoosier-state basketball lore: the Evansville College Purple Aces once went undefeated in the Indiana Collegiate Conference before winning the College Division NCAA championship. The Purple Aces’ 1964-65 season only existed only in newspaper clippings – until now. The starting guard for that team, Russell Grieger, writes about his observations, feelings, reactions and struggles during the season.

Something Like Forever
Heading out west on a greyhound-dirty road, taking the one thing you own…that’s how the latest album from alt-country rocker D Ferren begins. “Something Like Forever” offers fast- and slow-paced songs about the road, life and love. Ferren takes you on a ride of emotions when it comes to growing up, finding who you are, who you want to be with and what you want to be.
