Makeover expert Andy Paige, who is an internationally known fashion and beauty expert, has learned that the best makeovers celebrate a woman’s passage through life’s challenges. A great makeover is a climactic chapter in a section of a woman’s life story, a story about making it, surviving life’s challenges, about succeeding where and how we can.

The two Fort Wayne area women Paige chooses to win the 2015 You Look Fabulous! SHE Expo Fashion Makeover Contest Oct. 10 and 11, sponsored by Carson’s, will have the chance of a lifetime to celebrate the challenges they have met and are overcoming.

A head-to-toe makeover under Andy Paige’s expert guidance – a prize package valued at more than $2,000 for each of the two winners sponsored by Carson’s – will be a highlight of the 2015 Fort Wayne Newspapers SHE Expo, presented by Lutheran Health Network, Oct. 10 and 11 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

“We are extremely proud to be bringing a special event like the SHE Expo to Fort Wayne, and we want the event to make a difference for everyone who attends,” said Fort Wayne Newspapers CEO Michael J. Christman. “This makeover contest is a way to make a very special difference for two very special women. We are delighted Andy Paige has agreed to provide her expert guidance here.”

Entries are being accepted from noon Aug. 3 through 5 p.m. Aug. 28 at the SHE Expo page of FortWayne.com. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Full contest rules and regulations are available at the website.

The Fort Wayne Newspapers SHE Expo, presented by Lutheran Health Network, is two full days of shopping for you and your home, plus exciting guest speakers, beauty demonstrations, health and fitness checks and tips and giveaways, and an exciting lineup of guest speakers.

Headliner is Hilary Farr, international home designer and co-host of the wildly popular home design television show “Love It or List It” on HGTV since 2008. Farr is president of Hilary Farr Design and has designed properties throughout the world, including Australia and the United Kingdom. She has renovated homes for celebrities including Jenna Elfman and Jennifer Hudson.

Three other guest speakers complete the SHE Expo lineup:

• Cherie Lowe: The Queen of Free with tips for everyday savings freebies and living debt-free. She’s featured in The Wall Street Journal.

• Colette Heimowitz: A nutritionist and health expert with more than 20 years experience, she is featured on national television networks NBC, ABC and CBS.

• Jamie Gwen: Celebrity chef, certified sommelier and lifestyle expert featured on “The Talk,” “Emeril Live” and “Martha Stewart.”

Three specialty pavilions featuring up-close-and-personal vendor experiences are at the heart of the SHE Expo: Lutheran Health Network Health Pavilion, Windows, Doors & More Home Décor Pavilion and Darlington Pampering Pavilion. The rest of the exhibit floor will be a shopping village of vendors offering exciting opportunities to try, explore and buy for you and your home.
