Alice and Donald K. Miller Ret. Major Donald K. Miller and Alice (Nyikos) Miller are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple, both born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, wed on April 11, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, on their way to the Aluetian Islands, where they were stationed at Shemya Air Force Base. After traveling with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, the Millers made Fort Wayne their home. The couple have four children, Mary (Carl) Straley, Dona (Gerald) Kelker, Ron (Caroline) Miller, and Randy (Nan) Miller. They are blessed with 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
