David and Peggy Roth Celebrated 70th Wedding Anniversary David and Peggy Roth celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary with a dinner party given by their children on August 27, 2016. Dave and Peg were South Side High School sweethearts. They were married on August 24, 1946, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne after Dave returned from serving in combat in the Pacific during World War II. They have four children, John, Sharon, Greg and Kathy. They also have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dave was founder and president of Roth Wehrly Realtors. Peg was employed at Child Protective Services after raising their four children.
