Every September, we devote an entire issue to northeast Indiana’s créme de la créme, which is a French phrase meaning, “They’re mad lit on god no cap. Drip drip.” Well, “the votes are in,” and the selections have been enshrined herein. Voting for our Best Of issue took place entirely in Steve Penhollow’s head, a dangerous place to try to complete anything in an orderly fashion. But he does know a thing or three about the people, places and things that make this region special.
